High Cholesterol What Is It?
Cholesterol is a major contributor of heart disease. Heart attacks are caused by blockages in the blood vessels which supply blood to the heart. Increase blood cholesterol levels are the major cause of these blockages and this can to high blood pressure, stroke, blood supply to your legs and aneurysm (weak point in the arteries).

Over 60 million Americans have some form of cardiovascular disease and atherosclerosis. In last few years, we have learn that there is a huge difference between 'normal' and 'recommended' levels of cholesterol in blood. The 'normal' level is actually too high and is above the newer 'recommended' blood cholesterol levels.I am glad that you found the article helpfull.
